The Mckinney Dance Academy Difference

Since 1992 McKinney Dance Academy has provided personalized and comprehensive dance training to both the serious and recreational dancer. Smaller class sizes ensure every student receives individualized instruction resulting in quicker development. Making every dancer feel special is our daily focus! Children may begin as young as two years old and grow with MDA into their teen years. MDA owns its “two studio” location, on an acre of land where we host our bi-annual “McKinney Dance Theatre” shows. All students have opportunities to perform in other various community events as well. MDA students are proudly presented to the community in a very professional and age appropriate manner including costuming and choreography. Present and former students have become accomplished high school drill team officers, college dance team members, dance scholarship and overall award recipients. Currently, one student is starring in a major motion picture. As children enjoy the fun-loving and supportive atmosphere at MDA, they will learn from experienced teachers who have made instruction in the art of dance their profession and passion. Our “Elm Street Dancers” competition team is offered to every student at different levels of commitment and fees.
